Denizens of Destiny by Toni L.A. Cross

Denizens of destiny
Hearken to the call
Fear not failure’s ignominy
Grit your teeth and crawl

Slog through the swamp of lack
Rappel down craggy peaks of fear
Shrug doubt’s arrows off your back
Danger warns- greatness is near

Wait for time
When it’s time to wait
Then leap and climb
Before it’s too late

Bleed your dream and cry with sweat
Lest every sunset drip with regret
