breath: a fragment… by Toni L.A. Cross

slightest gasp of life-giving invisibility

frail born dream of immortality

take me, shake me, lift me free

of dust and time and partiality

let me soar ‘bove roaring waves

and wish and hope for more than filled graves

  1. Beautiful poem and the last line made me think of what will remain of us. Thank you for sharing.
