The Honey of the Sun: A Pantoum Poem by Toni Cross

drink the honey of the sun
drink deep until the day is done
be drunk with light
into the night
drink deep until the day is done
of golden wine, my bonny one
 into the night
you will shine bright
with golden wine, my bonny one
be drunk with light
you will shine bright
drink the honey of the sun

Sunshine by Toni L.A. Cross

Splashing in puddles of sunshine

Like a puppy in drops of sunlight

Lapping up all of the sunbeams

Carefree and happy in the sun-stream

Dancing and prancing in yellow delight

Golden glee of perfection

sunlight… By Toni L.A. Cross

sunlight sunbright

sweet sweet sweet sight

always day and never night

against the frigid we shall fight

no more hopeless winter plight

in these shining beams delight!
